CAMPS AVAILABLE FOR SUFFIELD RESIDENTS ONLY SUNRISE DAY CAMP and TWEEN CAMP and EXTENDED DAY INFORMATION KID'S KORNER AND MORNING MUNCHKINS CAMP INFORMATION ATHLETIC, SPORTS & FITNESS CAMPS/PROGRAMS ARTS - CRAFTS COOKING, MUSIC, NATURE & SCIENCE CAMP & PROGRAM REGISTRATION REGISTRATION: Registration at Parks & Recreation Office begins Monday, April 21 by mail or in person. Registration is on a first come, first paid basis for Suffield Residents only. No unregistered person may attend a program. PAYMENT: At time of registration full payment is required per child, per camp. Please make checks payable to the SUFFIELD PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT. A separate check for each program is appreciated. For payments made in cash, we request exact change. For payments that are mailed, we recommend you call the office to verify receipt. A mail box is located on the front of the building for customers who need to conduct business before or after our scheduled office hours. There will be a fee of $10.00 for checks returned for insufficient funds. REFUNDS: If the Parks & Recreation Office is notified 7 business days prior to the start of the program, all but 25% of the program fee will be refunded. No refunds once program begins.
GENERAL INFORMATION : Children must be of the correct age or corresponding grade level to participate in specific programs. Children will be placed in groups accordingly by Parks & Recreation staff, please no special requests. Please mark your calendars with dates of programs your child is registered for – you will not receive a call to remind you of your child’s enrollment. All programs are based on a limited enrollment - either deadline date or when program reaches capacity. Please register early to ensure that you have a spot and that the programs are not canceled for insufficient enrollment.
CAMP and PROGRAM POLICY: Suffield Parks & Recreation Department has the right to and will dismiss any child from a camp or program who is disruptive to the group. No refunds will be given. If your child has a special need please call the Parks & Recreation Department Office by June 1 so that we will know how to best serve you.
SUFFIELD EMERGENCY AID ASSOCIATION: The Emergency Aid Association has limited funds available to subsidize camp participation for eligible residents. Call the Emergency Aide Association at 668-1986 for more information or to apply.
