Kiran Jain Joins the Connecticut Department of Transportation as Director of Marketing and Development WINDSOR LOCKS, CONNECTICUT – October 21, 2004 – The Connecticut Department of Transportation (ConnDOT) announced today that Kiran Jain has joined its management team as the Bureau of Aviation and Ports’ new Director of Marketing and Development.
Ms. Jain’s primary responsibilities will be in the area of marketing with a particular focus on marketing functions related to airline and cargo activities at Bradley International Airport (BDL). Kiran has extensive experience in travel marketing and has worked since 2000 for National Express as Stewart International Airport’s (Newburgh, NY) General Manager, Marketing and Air Service Development. She has previously held various senior level marketing positions with World Duty Free, a subsidiary of BAA, as well as Jet Vacations, a subsidiary of Air France.
L. Scott Frantz, Chairman of the BDL Board of Directors, said, “I am pleased that Bradley will have a person of Kiran’s caliber in the Airport’s marketing and route development program. She brings a wealth of experience in two of the most important managerial areas of the Airport.” BDL Acting Administrator Barry J. Pallanck added, “I am looking forward to working with Kiran as part of the Airport’s overall team effort to further enhance our objectives in these key areas. She joins Bradley at an important time in our development.”
