Suffield Stormwater Management Program
The Town of Suffield is required by the EPA’s to apply for a Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) through the Connecticut DEP. Under the MS4, the Town must develop a Stormwater Management Plan and Submit the Part B Registration, which briefly outlines the plan, to the Connecticut DEP. The Town of Suffield has submitted both Parts A and B as required under the MS4 Permit and is finalizing the Town's Stormwater Management Plan for review and comments. The Engineering Department, in conjunction with the Conservation Commission's Administrative Secretary, have been working on the preparation of a draft Stormwater Management Plan. This plan will be available for the public to review and make comments. A public hearing will be held approximately 30 days after the draft plan is made available for public review.
