Suffield Building Department - Permit Fees
Minimum Fee: $22.00.
New Construction: Fee based on final value of construction as determined by the Building Official (refer to Connecticut State Building Code, Sec. R180.3).
Trade Fees: For construction below $20,000.00 in value, $22.00 per first $1,000 of value of construction and $15.00 per $1,000 thereafter. For construction above $20,000.00 in value, contact the Suffield Building Department.
Fences: $.04 per square foot plus $2.00, minimum fee $22.00.
Underground Fuel Tanks: $.02 per gallon, minimum fee $22.00.
Signs: $1.00 per square foot of face area, plus $2.00.
Demolition: Under 1,000 square feet - $52.00; over 1,000 square feet - $77.00.
Unclassified Misc. Items: For construction below $20,000.00 in value, $22.00 per first $1,000 of value of construction and $15.00 per $1,000 thereafter. For construction above $20,000.00 in value, contact the Suffield Building Department.
