PROPOSED BIODIESEL FACILITY SUFFIELD, CONNECTICUT | CT Biodiesel has proposed to construct and operate a $50 million dollar facility for the production of biodiesel in Suffield, Connecticut. At full production, the plant will manufacture approximately 50 million gallons of biodiesel per year from soybean oil and other feedstocks. The plant will employ an estimated 38 full-time workers with a total payroll of $2 million. The facility is proposed to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for approximately 350 days each year. >> Overview
