Country roads meander throughout Suffield's 43 square miles. A drive or bike-ride along these roads is a feast for the senses, especially during the fall leaf-peeping season. These roads, full of character, roll past farmlands and historic farmhouses with front porches communicating and celebrating Suffield's agricultural tradition. They twist and turn over hills and across valleys planted with corn, tobacco, hay and other crops. In Suffield, a frequent sight is the view of tractors moving the broadleaf tobacco to awaiting barns.
