WASTE DISPOSAL REGULATIONS AND FEES
EFFECTIVE February 1, 2006 All Waste Disposal Facilities Are Located At 2715 Mountain Road, West Suffield, CT.
Operating Hours Are Tuesday, Thursday, And Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
USAGE/PERMITS - Residential Usage Bulky waste facility including construction debris, metal, large plastic items, and mixed paper: There is no fee for usage of this facility except for vehicles over ¾ ton capacity. They must go over the scale and are charged at a rate of $100 per ton. All vehicles must display a valid TOWN OF SUFFIELD sticker that is available at no cost to town residents, and is obtainable at the Landfill, or display a current HOUSEHOLD TRASH or TRASH ADD-ON sticker as proof of Suffield residency also obtainable at the Landfill.
Municipal solid waste (household trash) and recyclables facility: This facility is open on a no additional fee basis only to Suffield residents who have elected to bring their municipal solid waste (household trash) and recyclables to the landfill rather then have them picked up at curbside. Vehicles must display a current HOUSEHOLD TRASH Sticker that is available at no additional cost only for residents who don't receive curbside pickup, and is obtainable at the Town Landfill.
Suffield residents who receive curbside pickup may purchase a current TRASH ADD-ON sticker for an additional $20 that allows unlimited use of the municipal solid waste area for the current year or part remaining thereof.
Transfer station facility: Vehicles must display a Suffield sticker proving Suffield residency. Fees are charged as follows:

USAGE PERMITS - Business/Commercial Bulky waste facility: This facility is open for usage by Suffield business/commercial companies only. All material brought into this facility must have originated in Suffield. All vehicles must go over the scales and be charged at a rate of $100 per ton.
Municipal solid waste (household trash) and recyclables facility:
This facility is closed to all business/commercial usage.
